We have put together a song bouquet which we know to be suitable for wedding use, ranging from Monica Dominique’s Tillägnan (Dedication) via Ulrik Neuman’s Kärleksvals (Valse d’amour) to O mio babbino caro from Puccini’s opera Gianni Schicci. We have also included I rosens doft (In the fragrance of roses) , which was written by Prince Gustaf, and which we think fits in very nicely. Grieg’s Wedding Day at Trollhaugen provides a majestic introduction, and Staffan Storm’s newly written Sommarnatt the conclusion, to a record which we hope will please and entertain everybody watching the wedding ceremony, with its solemn avowals and its hope of “living happily ever after”.
